Service Engineer P & P Department

Our client has a vacancy for a Service Engineer in the Power & Process Service Department to install, commission, service, maintain, repair, upgrade or replace products or any associated control equipment in the UK and overseas.

Ideally, you should be qualified to ONC/HNC standard in mechanical/electrical/chemical or marine Engineering and have knowledge of PLC control systems. Experience with combustion in boilers, fired heaters, air heaters and incineration and flares, together with knowledge of various burner types and their mode of operation is essential. Additional experience in control and instrumentation would be an advantage.

You must be self-motivated with excellent customer service skills and the ability to work alone to a high standard.

A current driving licence and a full passport are essential requirements of this role and you must be prepared to work overseas for extended periods both onshore and offshore.
