My client based in the East Midlands is currently looking to recruit a number of experienced and well qualified mechanical design engineers.
Ideally you will be Chartered (CEng), and a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar is essential, preferably a 2:1 or higher.You will also have good experience with dealing with heavy engineering projects, involved in the design of large machinery.
The role is not an out and out CAD role, the position will require you to write technical reports, problem solve, project manage and perform technical calculations, e.g stress.The position requires a good “all round” engineer, not simply a CAD Designer, although AutoCAD experience is essential.
Salary level and benefits are negotiable, and are considered on an individual basis.
